Actor Dhanush has on Monday revealed that the first single of his upcoming movie 'Naane Varuven' will be released on September 7 at 4.40 pm. As Naane Varuven is helmed by Selvaraghavan, the movie has drawn huge attention and expectation. The duo has given remarkable treats to the cinephiles through their previous endeavours like 'Kadhal Konden', 'Pudhupettai', and 'Mayakam Enna'.
On Monday - September 5, Dhanush took to Twitter and released a new poster and announced that the first single will be released on September 7. The official announcement of Naane Varuven and the movie posters made the fans in a tizzy. Earlier, social media platforms were stormed with strong speculations that spill the beans about the movie's trailer.
They suggest that the trailer of the movie will most likely get released on September 11th, which stirs the possibilities for the teaser launch ahead of the trailer. Dhanush plays the lead role in Naane Varuven and recent sources have tossed the possibility that Naane Varuven would clash and compete with Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan 1', which has been slated for a theatrical release on September 30.

After Thullavatho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna, this is the fifth time that Dhanush and Selvaraghavan would be working together and their favourite composer Yuvan Shankar Raja joined the team to compose music for the film.
