Following a well-received first single that enthralled the audience, the fans are now enthused about the release of Naane Varuven's teaser. Starred by Dhanush, the movie is helmed by his elder brother Selvaraghavan and the ardent fans of Dhanush are buzzing on social media in anticipation of the teaser due to the speculations that the movie would get released on September 30, clashing with Ponniyin Selvan. 

A recent word on the street is that Naane Varuven's teaser will soon be released at the SIIMA Awards ceremony which will be held on September 11. The movie's first single 'Veera Soora' was released on Wednesday and has already received a staggering five million views. The opulent 10th edition of the SIIMA Awards ceremony will be hosted by Bengaluru. 

As per the latest buzz, the movie team has planned to release the teaser of Naane Varuven on September 11 at the ceremony. Veteran director and actor Selvaraghavan's much awaited upcoming feature Naane Varuven plot narrates about a déjà vu experience between two people who are similar to each other where Dhanush will play dual roles - Evil one and Virtuous one.

Kalaipuli S Thanu produces the movie under his banner 'V Creations'. While Dhanush plays the lead role, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, Prabhu, and Shelly Kishore all have significant parts to play. This is Dhanush and Selvaraghavan's fifth venture together after Thullavatho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, and Mayakkam Enna. Yuvan Shankar Raja, who worked for the brothers' combo previously, has composed the music for this film.
