On June 21, 2023, the makers of ‘Raanjhanaa’, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the film that marked the first collaboration of Dhanush with director Anand L Rai. The actor, who won hearts with his portrayal of Kundan, announced his third film with the director on this special occasion. The new film titled ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, which is said to be a story from the world of ‘Raanjhanaa’.

Dhanush shared a note on Twitter expressing his gratitude to the fans and the team of ‘Raanjhanaa’ for making it a classic. He also shared a teaser video of ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, which shows him in a rugged avatar, sporting long hair and a beard. The penned note reads, "10 years of Raanjhana, Some films change your life forever and it's apt to say this is one such film,"

"Indeed, It changed all our lives My sincere thanks to each and everyone of you for making Raanjhana a classic. Now after a decade...a story from the world of Raanjhana, TERE ISHK MEIN.. I don't know what kind of journey awaits me, But I'm sure it's gonna be an adventure, For us and you all. Thank you Har Har Mahadev Love you all Om Namashivaya"

The makers dropped the enticing title promo video, captioning, "From Raanjhanaa to Atrangi Re, Aanand L Rai & Dhanush have come a long way and so has their admiration for each other's work. So here's bringing the iconic duo back to the big screen with #TereIshkMein on the 10th Anniversary of Raanjhanaa!  #TereIshkMein in cinemas in 2024! "

The teaser hinted at the actor as a rugged and serious man, where he only holds revenge and vengeance in his mind, as he runs with a flame torch in his hand and blew up the wall in front of him. Then the teaser unveiled the surprise announcement, "From the world of Raanjhanna".

The teaser also reveals that the film will have music by AR Rahman, who composed the soulful soundtrack of ‘Raanjhanaa’. The film is expected to release in 2024. However, the makers have not yet announced the female lead of the film. ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ will be Dhanush’s fourth Hindi film after ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Shamitabh’ and ‘Atrangi Re’. The actor is also busy with his next Captain Miller, D50, untitled film with Mari Selvaraj, and Vadachennai 2 with Vetrimaaran.
