The countdown has begun for the most awaited film of the year, Captain Miller, starring Dhanush as the legendary rebel leader who fought against the British Raj. The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, is a historical drama that showcases the life and struggles of Captain Miller, who inspired millions of Indians to join the freedom movement.

Makers of the film took to X, dropped a special video and wrote, "Buckle up for the Biggest Event of this season #CaptainMiller Grand Pre Release Event Tomorrow , 6PM onwards at Nehru Indoor stadium, Chennai". The film’s grand pre-release event will be held tomorrow at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, where the film’s audio will be launched in the presence of the star-studded cast and crew, along with some special guests and celebrities.

The event, which is expected to be a spectacular show of patriotism and entertainment, will start from 6 PM onwards. Captain Miller, which is slated to release on January 12, 2024, marks the second Tamil debut of Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar, who plays a pivotal role in the film. The film also features Telugu star Sundeep Kishan, and Priyanka Arul Mohan as the love interest of Dhanush, who supports him in his mission.

The film, which has been certified with a U/A certificate by the censor board, is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, who are known for their quality and content-driven films. The film’s music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, who has delivered some stirring tunes for the film. The film, which is set in the 1930s, has been shot extensively in various locations across India, with a lavish budget and a grand scale.
