The much-awaited trailer of 'Navarasa' is out now and it has poured more anticipations that the fans can't wait to see the first-of-its-kind anthology, which will touch upon the nine human emotions and they will be played by the top stars. Anthologies are the least touched subjects in the Tamil cinema industry and thanks to legendary filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan for their determination to explore the art and presenting nine stories in an anthology. 

'Navarasa', as the name suggests, will cover nine emotions and these nine stories are directed by prominent directors. In what has been an unprecedented project, Navarasa has brought the top actors under one roof. The anthology will be released on Netflix on August 6 and ten days ahead of the release, Netflix has unveiled the trailer of Anthology on Tuesday at 9.09 am. The trailer looks promising as it revolves around every emotion in the story in a 2-minute long video, leaving the fans to predict the gravity of the stories. 

The trailer has been going viral since it was released and increasing the curiosity to watch the anthology. It's going to be one of the lifetime treats for all binge-watchers and cinema fans and the nine stories will be directed by nine directors - Gautam Menon, Karthick Subbaraj, Vasanth, Priyadarshan, Bejoy Nambiar, Arvind Swami, Karthick Naren, Rathindran Prasad, and Sarjun KM. 

While the anthology had brought in a battalion of directors together, the stories will be starred by a fleet of popular actors - Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Yogi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Balan, Rohini, Karthick Krishna, Ramya Nambeesan, Revathy, Delhi Ganesh, Ashok Selvan, Bobby Simhaa, Rithvika, Prasanna, Parvathy, Atharvaa, Anjali, and Kishore. Besides them, directors Gautam Menon and Arvind Swami will be acting in their respective stories.

Through Navarasa, Arvind Swami debuts as a director. The massive project was under the making for several months and the makers had decided to release Navarasa directly on Netflix. The streaming giant has unveiled the teaser of Navarasa on July 9 and revealed the release date as August 6. The anthology was conceptualized by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan to aid the industry workers who are affected and facing distress due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions. 

Neither directors nor the actors of the movie will receive remuneration for their work. The teaser is a prefix of what has been predicted as a single-screen ride of nine human emotions - anger, compassion, peace, courage, disgust, fear, love, wonder, and laughter. In what has become a perfect pool of music directors, Oscar winner AR Rahman, D Imman, Ghibran, Aruldev, Karthik, Ron Ethan Yohann, Govind Vasantha, and Justin Prabhakaran will be composing music for this anthology. 

The revenue from Navarasa will be donated to the workers of the Tamil film industry. Navarasa was predicted to get released earlier during Pongal. However, it got delayed due to the post-production work, and now, the significant anthology treat has been baked to serve to the fans and audiences.
