In a much-anticipated revelation, the official trailer of 'Kaathal The Core,' featuring the dynamic duo of Mammootty and Jyotika, has been unveiled. Directed by Jeo Baby and scripted by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria, the film is a venture produced by Mammootty himself under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.

The trailer, spanning a concise one and a half minutes, provides a glimpse into the intricate family dynamics of Mammootty and Jyotika's characters, navigating through the complexities of a family drama. The narrative kicks off with Mathew Devassy, portrayed by Mammootty, entering a by-election for a ward in their gram panchayat.

However, it becomes apparent that his life is far from smooth sailing, especially concerning his relationship with his wife. Despite sharing the same roof, it is evident that communication between the two is scarce. The trailer sets the tone with Mathew's voice expressing, “I am not someone who talks much. It’s been almost 20 years since we got married.

What more is left to discuss now?” highlighting the significant issue of communication in their relationship. The storyline promises to delve into the intricacies of their family life, offering a glimpse into the challenges faced by the protagonists.

Adding to the anticipation is the talented creative team behind the scenes. Mathews Pulickan's musical compositions, Salu K. Thomas's cinematography, and Francies Louis's editing contribute to the visual and auditory allure of the film.

This project marks the return of Jyotika to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus of 12 years, her last appearance being in 'Seetha Kalyanam' in 2009. The ensemble cast also includes Joji John, Jisshu Sengupta, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, and Sudhi Kozhikode in pivotal roles.

The film was officially announced in October of the previous year, and the makers have confirmed that 'Kaathal The Core' is slated to hit the screens on the 23rd of November, 2023. As fans eagerly await the on-screen chemistry of Mammootty and Jyotika, the trailer has already stirred curiosity about the intricate tale of love, family, and the complexities that lie at the core of human relationships.
