For the first time, actor Vijay Sethupathi, who has been in the sublime form in the movie industry, has now revealed an incident of his father's angry when he was a young boy. Releasing a video as part of promoting Halitha Shameem's next 'Aelay', Makkal Selvan had recalled and opened up about his relationship with his father and how he handled a situation calmly. 

The video of the actor rewinding to his teenage period from his car has been getting virally shared across social media. In a drive of promoting Aelay, the video was made with the purpose of talking about his father under the title of 'Adavadi Appa' (Rough and Angry father) in which Vijay Sethupathi had shared one such incident of his father who got angry against a stranger during traveling in the unreserved compartment in a train, when, who is now a versatile and outstanding actor, was at his young age. 

Revealing the incident for the first time, Vijay Sethupathi said that when he was a young boy, he traveled to Coutrallam along with his family and relatives, and following the trip, they all were returning back in an unreserved compartment of a train. Due to the heavy rush, there was no place to even stand during which a man boarded the compartment and started creating trouble for the other passengers, despite they tried to calm him down. 

He continued to abuse everyone following which, Vijay Sethupathi said that his father, who was sleeping on the berth, got down and kicked that man on his face and went back to sleep. The actor says he was shocked and afraid to see his father's action and whether that man would cause any trouble to his family as he kept on intimidating the actor's family that he will revenge after they reach Chennai. But, the actor says, when the destination arrived, that man had disembarked the train and went quietly on his way. 

After the development, Vijay Sethupathi asked his father why he kicked the troublemaker and how he did it without any fear and how the troublemaker calmly walked down even after intimidating the family to take revenge. The actor adds in a video that his father said that the man was creating trouble, and when the actor's father kicked him, he lost his pride and was humiliated in front of his family. He left because he had understood that he had created problems. 

Vijay Sethupathi said that his father had handled the situation calmly and added that the way he now lives his life with courage is because of his father's attitude towards life. The actor had concluded by wishing and congratulating Halithaa Shameem and Team Aelay for success. Aelay is directed by Halithaa Shameem, who rose to fame by directing Sillu Karuppatti and produced by Y Not Studios. The movie will feature Samuthirakani and Manikandan in the lead roles. 

While the trailer will be released at 5 pm on Tuesday- January 26, the movie will hit the big screens on February 12th, 2021. Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in 'Master' and played antagonist against Thalapathy Vijay. Master is produced by XB Film Creators, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh has composed the music. Vijay plays a lead role and Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Santhanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das, and Gauri Kishan had played important roles. Master has got released on January 13th and has grossed over Rs 200 crores in box office worldwide.
