In the wake of hosting second informal meet between Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Tamil Nadu's coastal town of Mamallapuram adds privilege to its heritage but the on ground reports say that the native people and tourists of Mamallapuram have been encountering tight surveillance that had brought the disturbing uneasiness among them.

India and China have been observing- not fruitful but easing relationships and ties post the independence of two nations apart from 1962 Indo-China war. Since Prime minister Modi had assumed to power, he has been concentrating on enhancing the ties between the two countries to the new heights where with that motive, the leaders of India and China had sat for their first informal meet in Wuhan province of China in 2018 in which they agreed to table such informal meets to discuss the entire gamut of the bilateral ties.

As China had hosted the inaugural informal meet, its now India's turn to host Chinese leader and the Indian government authorities, after reviewing the possible venues, had finalized that the leaders will meet in Tamil Nadu's coastal town of Mamallapuram from October 11th to 13th 2019 in which they further table the discussions in continuity of the first meet. Since the state government has barely one day left in its diary, the authorities had tightened the security grid in Mamallapuram where the surveillance and the patrols have been touring the town to ensure that no security lag has been reported for.

Amidst the high level of security, the opposition parties of the state had suggested the government to compensate the loss incurred by the native people of Mamallapuram after closing their hotels, shops and accommodation facilities that would brought in huge loss and further stated that the government should prepare and renovate the town by ensuring that it won't affect any people. It has been reported that both the leaders may take chopper to reach Covelong to have their stay following which they will sit for the discussions along with the delegation in the convention center in Mamallapuram. With accord to that, the state police department had stationed thousands of police from Covelong to Kalpakkam where one police official has been fenced for five houses in this circle with the view of gripping the security knot that had somehow reduced the tourists.

The state government had exclusively renovated the town to showcase it as the fittest city of host international leaders where the authorities had installed more lighting, cemented the road, cleaned the town with no trashes, planted more saplings, flagging counter measures to tackle the epidemic, stationing about 30,000 police forces and placing new status of Buddha through which the town has been decorated along with the day and night work of local body, electrical department, health department and highways department.

By citing the visit of the leaders of two biggest populated countries, the Central security force had identified and brought about five routes under its control including one naval route equipped with proper fleets and the town has been droning by the CCTV cameras where these cameras have been placed in every twenty meters and Mamallapuram will be on the international spotlight for hosting Chinese President for the first time along with its rich heritage.
