One of the most reputed and admired actors in Tamil cinema industry Vijay has been unleashing his political speeches and episodes in all of his most recent movies that had indeed brought in more political barriers from the ruling party. His movies like 'Kavalan', 'Thalaivaa', 'Mersal', 'Sarkar' had seen controversies and challenges that were directed by the political grounds, which, after attaining compromises with the government, got released in big screens.

Adding to the line of controversies, his latest wrap up 'Bigil' which has been scheduled to hit the screens during Diwali, was now under the anger drones of the state's ruling party and Vijay himself had operated such drones through his speech in Bigil's audio launch where he had directly attacked the government on banner issue that had killed 23 year old techie. While addressing his fans and audiences, he had urged them to vote for the deserved candidates instead of current rulers that had oiled the dispute between the actor and the ruling party.

Through listening his full speech at audio launch, the Chief minister of the state had expressed his anger with his fellow ministers following which some of the secret orders have been passed to the concerned authorities with the motive of shuttering down the movie from getting released. These current scenes had rewinded the similar controversies to his movie 'Thalaivaa' in which Vijay had added the tagline of the movie as 'Time to Lead' that had cooked the vexation from the then Chief minister J Jayalalithaa after which, the movie got trapped in the hands of problems exactly one day prior to the official release date where most of the theaters were reported to have received bomb threats that had caused uncertain among the distributors and theater administration after the police department had refused to provide security for the premises that had received bomb threats which eventually reduced the picturing of the movie that had hugely affected actor Vijay and the production unit.

In the wake of having uncertainty for his movie, Vijay and his father Chandrasekar had requested to meet Jayalalithaa and after a long wait, they had met with the then Chief minister and further to the negotiations and compromises, some of the political scenes in Thalaivaa were allegedly removed after which the movie was green signaled to hit the screens in the state. Now, after having been flagging the political controversies by directly attacking the state government, the government led by Edappadi Palaniswami has been reportedly using the same stance to counter attack actor Vijay as like Jayalalithaa. The reports say that the state government authorities had allegedly intervened in censor board after which 'Bigil' was ought to face huge delay from the board for attaining its certificate as the authorities have been working to ensure that the movie shouldn't hit the screens by Diwali.

Actor Vijay has been left with shock waves by the actions of the government following which he had reached superstar Rajinikanth to seek his support but it has been reported that Rajinikanth hadn't reacted for this issue instantly which had led Vijay to acquire consent from the Chief minister which is yet to be announced officially. As the political grounds have been webbing to barricade the release of Bigil, its certain that Vijay will play his game in Bigil only after the state government had whistled to start the game.
