To win the upcoming TN elections, see how an ADMK party man offered prayers at the top temple!

With the view of ensuring that the ruling ADMK party wins the upcoming legislative elections and retains the power in the state, a party man has offered prayers and yaagam in one of the top temples in Tamil Nadu. Offering prayers aren't new for the political parties in the state, but this party functionary amazed everyone through how he accomplished his mission of demanding God to shower victory to the ruling party.

According to reports, Vishnu Prabha is the youth wing deputy general secretary of the ADMK party. He belongs to Coimbatore and he decided to perform Yaagam at the Andal temple in Srivilliputhur and to reach the temple which is hundreds of kilometers far from his native, he hired a helicopter and flown to the temple from Coimbatore on the chartered chopper along with his family members.

He offered prayers to the temple for the ADMK's victory in the next assembly polls. However, the rituals were performed with the photo of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who passed away in 2016. Performing the prayers with the photo of the deceased had irked the devotees with some stating that it was against the rules of Hinduism to pray to photographs of dead persons inside the temple.

Amid such opposition, Vishnu had completed his prayers and told the media that the yaagam and the prayers were done for the party to retain power in the state next year, which would be the golden jubilee year for the party. He stated that former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had acknowledged the role of the youth wing in the party's electoral win in 2011.

Andal temple, which is the state's official emblem, was opened to the public recently as part of the relaxations and since its resumption, the temple had seen several ADMK functionaries visiting in the last few days. Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Panneerselvam and his son Theni MP Ravindranath Kumar had visited the temple ten days ago and offered prayers.
