The development of this tentative date has signaled that the final and official election schedule would perhaps be announced soon.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar unveiled the election schedule and announced that Karnataka will go for a single-phase assembly poll.

Earlier, the Election Commission ordered the temporary allocation of the double leaf symbol to Edappadi Palaniswami's team.

Submitting nominations for the election will take place from September 24 to September 30. On October 1, nomination papers would be scrutinized and October 8 will be the last day to withdraw the nominations.

Beginning on September 7 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, Rahul Gandhi walking for a total of 150 days, traveling 3,570 kilometers across 12 states and two union territories, stopping in seven districts over the course of 19 days, and finally arriving in Karnataka on October 1.

Ranil Wickremesinghe got 134 votes; Dullas Alahapperuma got 82 votes; Anura Kumara Dissanayake got 3 votes. . Earlier, the protesters also took over and demolished his private residence, as he is now in the state of reviving the trust of Srilankan people and stablilize the country in all economic and essential needs. 

To stabilize the fallen country, the nominations were made on Tuesday to elect the new president of Srilanka in Parliament. 

July 24 is the day, the country knows who will chair the president seat, after the tenure of current President Ram Nath Govind gets ends on the same day.

Under his new role, Kumar will conduct the crucial and challenging elections including the upcoming Presidential elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
