Amit Shah vs Arvind Kejriwal - Reality in Delhi!

The ongoing protests against the Center's enactment of the biased and handicapped Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), and the proposed implementation of the National Population Register (NPR), have been long-simmering in nation's capital New Delhi for the past two months and the recent clashes that seeded the rise of the communal violence had hit the international spotlight as the pro and anti CAA groups had rioted each other while the Modi government was hosting US President Donald Trump in Delhi.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was muted during the visit of fellow rightist leader Trump, took to Twitter and wooed to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony and his tweet was aired after Trump and his delegation departed from India. Following his tweet, Modi tabled a meet with National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and reviewed the prevailing unrest in Delhi. Modi deputed Doval to take charge in Delhi to contain the violence and to bring the city back to the normalcy. Ajit Doval has toured war-torn Northeast Delhi and he got the same answers from the people in the violence-hit regions - 'BJP's hatred and provocative statements were the reason for instigating the violence'.

Our sources say that after reviewing the on-ground security mechanisms, Doval circled the meet with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and high-ranking officials in Delhi police and this meeting lasted more than two hours during which Ajit Doval directly said that the Delhi government had failed to contain the violence and to uphold the law and order. Doval further called Kejriwal to take the situation seriously towards ending the riots. While Doval piled up the allegations against the Delhi government, Arvind Kejriwal has rebutted his claims and put the ball back on BJP's court by routing the accusations on the Central ruling party.

In the meeting, Kejriwal highlighted that Amit Shah can't be able to engulf after he learned that the Shaheen Bagh protests were been spreading across northeast Delhi. Amit Shah has been approaching the act and the issue politically. Kejriwal further stated that the Home Ministry and the Intelligence had received the orders after which the intelligence agencies roped in the anti-social elements and they were let to get infiltered in the anti-CAA protests. BJP leaders Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur, and Parvesh Sharma had incited by the Home Ministry and these three leaders had made provocative statements that prompted the anti-social elements to agitate further. The BJP was waiting for these anti-social elements to spur up the riots and as expected, the riots were torched and BJP members and pro-CAA groups had pelted the stones and the melee had birthed the communal violence.

Delhi police department, that falls directly under the control of Union Home Ministry, had muted on countering the violence and they reportedly attacked the people who protested against the CAA and the police force was joined by the pro-CAA forces and thee two groups had ignited the violence. Our sources reveal that Kejriwal further showed the video footage to Ajit Doval in which the Delhi Chief Minister held Amit Shah accountable for the Delhi violence.

By stating that the Central government has the responsibility to address the fear and frustrations of the people against the act they oppose, Kejriwal slashed the Center for being unresponsive and divulged that the violence has erupted after the Center has considered that it would attain a personal motive through the riots. Delhi police department, with the view of retaliating Kejriwal's notions, claimed that there was no infiltration of the anti-social elements. They stated that an anti-CAA protestor named Sharukh has carried the gun and threatened the police. The police department has appealed to Kejriwal to understand where is the epicenter of the violence.

Ajit Doval further levied the blame against Kejriwal and said that as the Chief Minister, he must have attempted to contain the violence. By fiercely rebutting, our sources say, Arvind Kejriwal said that the ongoing protests are not against him but against the act that was implemented by Amit Shah. On February 26th, Ajit Doval had discussed with Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and during that discussion, Doval has disclosed the reports from the Intelligence to the Prime Minister and the sources from Delhi reveal that all these reports are against of the protesters. The reports say as on Monday, the violence in Delhi had claimed 46 lives including a police officer, intelligence official, journalists, and civilans while more than two hundred were injured.
