On Wednesday, the Tamil Nadu Assembly has passed a resolution against the CAA amid the protests carried out by the BJP.

The police department alleged that Seeman's address had instigated hatred and violence between two communities and it was against the government. 

The protesters have called off the protests temporarily and stated that they would resume the protests in the future until the state government adopts anti CAA resolution in the assembly.

The meeting has come at a high time when the Washermenpet area in Chennai has been witnessing intense protests from thousands of Muslim men and women.

However, the ADMK government has on Wednesday pressed its stand that it can't pass anti-CAA resolution as the act has already been passed in the Parliament.

IT authorities had visited Vijay's residence days after the department carried out the raid in the residence of Lalit Kumar, who is the co-producer of the 'Master' movie.

Amit Shah professed that the act is the policy matter of the Central government and it has been consented by the President and warned the state ministers to contain the protests in Chennai.

The Muslim members in the ADMK party have been staying off from involving in active politics and the situation persists across the state.

Kejriwal slashed the Center for being unresponsive and divulged that the violence has erupted after the Center has considered that it would attain a personal motive through the riots.

Edappadi Palaniswami has pressed that the ruling ADMK government would protect all people in Tamil Nadu regardless of the caste, creed, and community.
