That change in Chidambaram after prison days!

After having been acquitted from Tihar prison where he was lodged for 106 days with the connection to the INX Media case, former Indian Finance and Home Minister P Chidambaram hasn't waited for the right time to spear his anger against the Modi led Central government as exactly one day after bailed out, he made his attendance in the Rajya Sabha and hotly served the reporters with the heated accusations against the Center on its economic policies with the recipe of the strong criticism that he had cooked during his prison days.

When he addressed the reporters at the Congress party's office, he frantically accused the Central government on the backtracking economy and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government is clueless about the economy and stated that the country would be lucky to have 5% of economic growth by the end of the year. He accused the government of being mulish in defending the catastrophic mistakes like demonetization, GST and the former minister branded the prevailing economic slowdown as a man-made catastrophe.

He came to Chennai last Saturday for the first time in the past 106 days and upon his arrival at the Chennai airport, he addressed the reporters during which he stressed his statements and accusations on Modi government's economic policy and further warned the people to be aware and awake about the prevailing economic slowdown. On Sunday, he was scheduled to visit his hometown of Sivaganga and with the view of that, P Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram had reached the Trichy airport from where they took the road to reach the native land. At around noon on Sunday, the Chidambarams arrived at Thirumayam during which they had a grander welcome from the local Congress party men and the local people who had surrounded the duo and celebrated their arrival.

After offering the prayers at the local temple, P Chidambaram, the national leader of the party, was seen talking to the local party men by calling their names. While we asked about the leader's arrival, Senthil, who was one among the crowded people, claimed that P Chidambaram seemed to be approachable by the local party men, unlike the past where meeting Chidambaram was not the easy task and it was like crossing the checkpoints to meet him.

After bidding a farewell from Thirumayam, P Chidambaram reached Karaikudi where he was awarded much more grand welcome. By receiving the welcome, he went to his office and took the mic to address the reporters who were gathered there. He labeled the current conflict as 'crusade' and stated that the Modi government, which was formed before seven months, should have taken the country to the path of stable and sustainable developments but the current governance resembles the opposite path of the development. He blamed the Central government by stating that the government has been forcing the people to do as per its wish, compelling to eat what it serves and urging to speak the language of the ruling party's interest and cited that the people, who voice against the government, would be booked under sedition that has been picturing the trend of dictatorship due to which the economic backtracks to meet the severe recession.

He asserted that he will be speaking, writing and voicing against these issues that posses a huge threat to the country. He claimed that the country has been pedaling backward by the Central government. By citing the possibilities of having the Goods and Services tax raise, he called on the young generation and the educational scholars to stage a revolution to oppose the Central government. During his 106 days of imprisonment, P Chidambaram had written a book titled 'Achamillai, Achamillai' ( No fear) and the book will be released by lyricist Vairamuthu on January 10th,2020.
