Ram Surat Mishra was serving jail term for five years and after serving the sentenced incarceration, he walked out of the prison on Monday.

The verdict was pronounced on Thursday and along with Ansari, his associate Bhim Singh will also serve the same period of incarceration. 

She is one of the seven convicts serving the life sentence and she has now been given a month of ordinary parole to look after her ailing mother. 

A 28-year-old case in Uttar Pradesh has come to an end with awarding five-year incarceration to a sitting BJP MLA.

The visitors will also be joining the prisoners in their daily routine like taking part in cooking, gardening, and cleaning the prison premises. 

The final verdict from the CBI court has come a day after they were proven guilty and along with a life sentence for murder, the convicts were also been awarded with the seven years of prison sentence for destroying evidence.

Former MP Ramachandran and his son Rajasekaran were sentenced to seven years of imprisonment each and the court had levied with a penalty of Rs 1.11 crore each.

Governor, as head of the state, enjoys constitutional rights under Article 161 towards acquitting the convicts or lowering the sentences awarded to the inmates.
