Modi's surprise gift for ADMK - Here's what it has got for backing CAA!

Amid the growing criticism and allegations that have been queuing up and damaging the party's base, the Tamil Nadu ruling ADMK party has been supporting and backing the BJP's bills and propagandas both in the Parliament and on the political stage.

Despite the series of condemnations from the opposition parties against the ADMK for pedaling with the Hindu Nationalist government, the ADMK has been reiterating its stand for upholding the BJP and its policies and recently, apart from voting in favor of much agitated Citizenship Amendment Act in the Parliament, Edappadi Palaniswami's government has been aiding the center to counter-attack the opposition parties that have been protesting against the CAA. Most of the opposition parties in Tamil Nadu had blamed the ADMK party for providing strong support for the CAA that ignores Sri Lankan Tamil people from applying for the Indian citizenship.

The unremitting support of ADMK in the middle of the hardship politics has got important development from the Center in return. Our sources reveal that the Modi led BJP government at the Center has been planning to reward the ADMK party for supporting its policies including CAA and for staging heated debates against the opposition members. The Modi government has decided to offer the berths for the ADMK party in the Union Cabinet and our sources stated that Modi is planning to reshuffle his cabinet soon in which he has decided to award two cabinet posts for the ADMK party. Recently, Delhi has passed the news to the ADMK's central leadership and the party has certainly named O.P.Ravindranath Kumar, the son of Deputy Chief Minister Panneerselvam as one of the party's picks for the Central Ministerial post.

However, the PMK party, which observes ties with ADMK, is likely to revolt the ADMK's decision of proposing two names from its own camp. The sources have further stated that the PMK's leader and Rajya Sabha MP Anbumani Ramadoss has been attempting to grab the reward from the BJP by sharing the seat as Union Minister in Modi's cabinet.
