Adding another feather to his cap of achievements, Rajinikanth will be receiving Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which is India's highest award in cinema.

The young actor had then risen to popularity through acting crucial roles in Superstar Rajinikanth starred 'Kaala' and Dhanush starred 'Asuran'.

Dhanush had added another feather to his cap as he has won the national award for the Best Actor in 2019 for Asuran and the movie has been conferred with the National Award for the Best Tamil film. 

The global recognition for these two Tamil movies has come when the pictures had garnered massive reception across and beyond borders and recorded the blockbuster hit.
