Sawant has become the fourth Chief Minister in India to confirmed to have contracted to the global pandemic following his counterparts of Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Haryana. 

As per the fresh announcement, people can be able to travel between the districts from September 7 through the public and private transports.

Speaking about the survey, Chennai Corporation Commissioner Prakash said that survey had helped the civic body to refocus its health interventions.
