‘D 50’ is speculated to be titled ‘Raayan’ and is said to be a gritty and realistic portrayal of the gangster periodic drama.

He also recalled that he had worked with Dhanush in his shelved film, which was to be the Dhanush's second directorial effort.

D50 is Sun Pictures’ second collaboration with Dhanush as a production house after last year’s blockbuster hit Thiruchitrabalam.

The film is said to have a huge star cast and a high budget, and rumor has it that the film is an periodic gangster drama.
