The marathon race for the reign is between the ruling ADMK and opposition DMK, and the latest pre-poll survey has poured the light on the race by displaying the possibilities of who would win the polls. 

Dhinakaran and Owaisi will be addressing a public meeting on March 12 in Chennai. 

The development has come when the ADMK party has been witnessing an intra-party tussle over the seat-sharing and finalizing the constituencies for the polls. 

The upcoming legislative election is the first assembly polls for MK Stalin as DMK President and the state will be going to the polls on April 6th and the votes will be counted on May 2nd.

The DMK party is planning to provide 18-20 seats for Congress and the strong deadlock implies that the deal between Congress and DMK is not in sight.

The DMK has inked seat-sharing agreements with three parties including VCK and the other two parties are Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK). 

The parties are carrying out aggressive talks but the current events display that the amicable output of seat-sharing is not in sight yet.

On Monday - March 1st, Stalin has celebrated his 68th birthday and has been in the rain of wishes and DMK has announced that the party will be releasing a vision for the upcoming state elections on March 7. 

Chepauk- Triplicane constituency would draw major attention from across and beyond the state as it would be a direct fight between the two popular rivals.

DMK has many allies to accommodate in the polls and the party's leadership led by Stalin has been carrying out the talks to equally balance the party's interest and the demands of allied parties.
