Stalin met Governor Banwarilal Purohit and presented a resolution unanimously passed by the DMK party over electing him to be the party's leader in the legislative assembly. 

As Stalin is preparing for swearing-in as the next Chief Minister, the officials at Raj Bhavan have also been making arrangements to host the swearing-in ceremony on May 7.

Exactly two days after registering a historic victory, the DMK leaders were shocked to see the party members vandalizing the premises of Amma Canteen in Chennai. 

DMK will be taking over the reign after a decade by ousting the ADMK regime and Stalin is all set to become the next Chief Minister. 

On Monday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami has resigned from his post after conceding the defeat and MK Stalin will be swearing-in as the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 7. 

The DMK-led alliance has attained a remarkable victory in the Tamil Nadu assembly polls and Stalin is all set to become the Chief Minister for the first time. 

MK Stalin led-DMK alliance is all set to form the new government after a decade with a sound majority in the assembly.
