Kumar Kanani, MLA of Varachha Road claimed that his son was on his way to the civil hospital as his father-in-law for undergoing treatment for Coronavirus. 

Mugilan's family members demanded the District Superintendent of Police to arrest the police officials who were stationed in the check post. The reports stated that Mugilan is married and has three daughters.
