The Prime Minister's office witnessed a heartwarming moment as two icons shared a light-hearted moment together.

He visited the Theppakadu Elephant Camp in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in Tamil Nadu and met the mahout couple, Bomman and Bellie, who have a special bond with two orphaned elephants, Raghu and Ammu.

The brand new residential complex would house state-of-the-art facilities and from the new residence, the Prime Minister will have tunnel access to the Parliament and to the office at Raisina Hill. 

To stabilize the fallen country, the nominations were made on Tuesday to elect the new president of Srilanka in Parliament. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the early MPs to cast his vote on Monday morning for the Presidential election at Parliament House in New Delhi.
