The police team led by the Superintendent of Police has been stationed in the area and the officials had affirmed that the situation has been brought under control.
The police had arrested S Manickam and Murugavel and they were then produced before a special court after which they were remanded under judicial custody.
On the other hand, the police had issued an official statement concerning the attack and said that Vinoth had hurled the petrol bomb after the BJP had supported the NEET.
"We condemn the Tamil Nadu government's role in this incident. We have also informed the police. BJP cadres don't get intimidated by such attacks", Thiagarajan added.
With the support of 230 MLAs, the assembly has passed the legislation while the four BJP MLAs had skipped voting to display their dissent against the Bill.
The officials had declared that the bomb threat was a hoax and with the help of the phone number from where the call was received, the police had traced a 28-year-old man in the Chengalpattu district.
