Director Mysskin, who is known for his unique and sensational films in Tamil cinema, has revealed that he is working on a script for Vijay Sethupathi, and that he will announce the project once it is done. The director also opened up about his role in Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Maaveeran, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Madonne Ashwin.

Mysskin, who has previously collaborated with Vijay Sethupathi for Pisaasu 2, said that he is a big fan of the versatile actor and that he has a challenging story for him. "I am working on the script and I will reveal more details soon,” he said in a recent interview with regional media.

The director also spoke about his role in Maaveeran, which marks his second outing as an actor after Bachelor. He said that he plays an antagonist in the film, an MLA who opposes Sivakarthikeyan’s character. “It was an interesting film and I liked the script. I have a clean-shaven look for my role. Sivakarthikeyan is very humble and talented. He will definitely be a big star in Indian cinema,” earlier he said.

Maaveeran, which also stars Aditi Shankar, daughter of director Shankar, and veteran actor Saritha, will release in Tamil and Telugu as Mahaveerudu. The film has music by Bharath Shankar and cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna. The film is expected to hit the screens later this year.

Meanwhile, Mysskin is awaiting the release of his Pisaasu 2, which stars Andrea Jeremiah, Poorna and Vijay Sethupathi in a cameo role. The director is also reported years back that he is planning to make a sequel to his cult classic Anjathey which is yet to make official.
