Into the world of Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai': Check out the latest pics from the intense shooting!

In the midst of intense shooting, the cinema fans were taken into the world of Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai' on Friday as the latest pictures from the sets were released and have been getting shared on social media. Since the announcement and the release of the posters, Viduthalai has got pinned on the wish list of Tamil fans as every new update is taking their expectations to next level.

Days after the release of new posters, the Viduthalai team released the pictures from the intense shooting. Interestingly, actor Soori plays the lead role in the movie, as a police officer. The movie is being made as a crime thriller and is bankrolled by Elred Kumar under the banner of RS Infotainment. The movie is adapted from the short story 'Thunaivan' written by Jeyamohan.

Viduthalai will be distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies and on Saturday, Red Giant Movies took to Twitter and released the pictures from the sets. It wrote, "Straight from the sets Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai, in progress- a jaw-dropping action sequence." The pictures have caught the wave of virality and one of them displays Soori on the run.

Another interesting factor in the movie is it has Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi playing a teacher. The posters that were released earlier this month suggest that Vijay Sethupathi would rock the screen as the antagonist, which is the actor's latest trend. Both the stars have sported ferocious looks in the posters and it has been reported that Viduthalai will be released in two parts.

Besides Soori and Vijay Sethupathi, the movie has also roped in Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Rajiv Menon, and Chetan in important roles. The music is composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja. While Velraj has done cinematography, Peter Hein is the stunt director. Major scenes of the movie were filmed in Sathyamangalam, Dindigul's Sirumalai, and Panrutty. It has been touted that Viduthalai will hit the theatres in October.
