Rajinikanth, who spoke to ANI after the event, said that he was blessed to witness the historic moment and expressed his admiration for the Ram Mandir project.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed, "January 22, 2024 is not just a date, but the beginning of a new era. The construction of Ram Mandir has filled people with a new energy." 

The event also saw the presence of many celebrities from various fields, especially from the South Indian film industry.

Ayodhya has made a splash over the ceremony and the city has flanked spectacular decorations as it prepared for the event.

He has planned to start the tour by next month and the people from each ward will be visiting the Ram temple every month at his own expense. 

Treasurer Govind said that the trust aims to cover over 4 lakh villages and 11 crore families across the country as part of the fundraising drive.

The verdict, which had drawn nationwide attention for its severity of the matter, has been surfaced with the mixed reactions from the national leaders.
