The trailer's first few minutes fixate on the genuine love shared by what appear to be Nayanthara and Vinay as a married couple and their teenage daughter, before pulling to a horrific sphere that covers their family during lockdown.

Nayanthara's reteaming with director Ashwin Saravanan marks the duo's second project together. They had previously collaborated on the horror film Maya.

While Nayanthara plays the lead role as the single mother, Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, Vinay Rai, and Haniya Nafis will play crucial roles.

Now the latest has been versed, that the eagerly awaited project is being produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios, who also to be debut his first directorial.

Connect is helmed by Ashwin Saravanan, who is known for the movies 'Maya', which was Nayanthara's 50th flick, and 'Game Over' starring Tapsee Pannu.
