To settle the students back to the classroom ecosystem, the elementary education department has asked the schools to conduct storytelling, drawing, and other creative sessions for the first two weeks. 

Primary and elementary school students have been studying online since March 2020 and they have now resumed their studies physically from their classroom.

However, as the teacher realized nothing of what's happening around him, he continued his class and the trio had continued making fun of him.

The development of 34 students testing positive in 24 hours has come at a high time when the state government has strongly been mulling to reopen the schools for Classes 1 to 8. 

The meeting will come a day after Health Minister Ma Subramanian has said that the schools where the students had tested positive will be closed. 

The schools which have reported multiple cases were closed while the institutions that reported fewer cases are functioning after complete sanitisation. 

The developments had distressed the stakeholders to fully acknowledge the resumption despite the vaccinations and safety guidelines.

The back-to-back developments of students and teachers being vulnerable and contracting the viral infection had poured an ordeal to the state government.

According to reports, three students and a teacher in the state had confirmed to have contracted the pandemic, exactly a day after reopening the schools.

The student, who had tested positive, has been put into isolation and the officials had brought the school premises under their surveillance.
