DMK MP Kalanidhi Veeraswamy raised a question to the centre asking why the construction work hasn't begun even three years after the foundation stone was laid in January 2019.

Udhayanidhi Stalin will be swearing-in as a minister on December 14 and the oath will be administered by Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi.

Chief Minister MK Stalin toured several parts of Chennai on Saturday to took stock of the damages brought by the cyclone and how they are being fixed. 

It has been reported that two people from Chennai and two people from its neighboring Kancheepuram have died due to rain-related incidents.
