Varisu is the first film that Vijay has worked with Thaman S. The album reportedly has six tracks, with three have released.

When the two singles Ranjithame, and Thee Thalapathy witnessed massive receptions for their energetic beats, the third single was reportedly to be a melodious treat that came as a surprise.

Since it'd versed that the film have the Thalapathy in a clean family film like Poove Unakkaga and Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Varisu has become one of Vijay fans' most eagerly anticipated movies in recent years.

Production on "Thalapathy 67" reportedly began a few days ago with a Muhurtha ceremony, though stills from the ceremony have not been made public.
