WhatsApp has banned over 19 lakh Indian accounts in the month of May, following a similar curb that was imposed on 16.6 lakh accounts in April.

"The board of directors has at their meeting held on June 27, 2022, noted the resignation of Mr. Mukesh D Ambani as director of the company effective from close of working hours on June 27, 2022," Jio informed the stock exchanges.

These features will be functional to the users of both iOS and Android, who have installed the latest version of the application.

Google Maps recently introduces automatic transliteration for 10 Indian languages.

The company said in a statement that, "Honouring its commitment to revert
off-net domestic voice-call charges to zero, as soon as IUC charges are
abolished, Jio will once again make all off-net domestic voice calls free, starting
1st January 2021."

The payment service will make transferring money just as easy as sending a message and people can safely send money to a family member or share the cost of goods from a distance.

The global messaging platform has said that this new feature will also be available on WhatsApp for the web version.

Although most of the people had welcomed it, some had claimed that it would cause delays for the ambulances and fire engines as the sirens of these emergency vehicles would also be recorded by the decibel meters.
