The duo, who fell in love on the sets of their hit film Amarkalam in 1999, tied the knot in a grand ceremony on April 25, 2000.

Sources say that AK 63 will be a dramady with a strong emotional core, as such like the director's touch, but neither the genre nor the cast have been announced as of yet.

Vignesh Shivan also wished Magizh Thirumeni all the best for the film and said that he would enjoy it as an Ajith fan.

The conversation between the two has happened when senior ADMK leaders went to the actor's residence in Chennai to express their condolences to him for the demise of his father. 

"We trust that all who have known loss will respect our wish to grieve privately and deal with his passing with as much equanimity and dignity as possible."

He is expected to return to Chennai soon to perform the last rites of his father

And with Ajith's return from his family vacation, it is expected that the team will soon start working on the film.

Sources say that Magizh Thirumeni team are taking steps to announce the film within the next week, and the title.

AK62, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is still in the pre-production stage, but this casting announcement has already created a buzz among fans.

The film is expected to begin filming next month  of March, according to reliable sources.
