The actor turned politician had negated such rumors and denied the speculations that she is switching side and asserted that she is happy with the Congress. 

The announcement of the CM candidate has come with multiple episodes of discussions and parleys between the factions for the past ten days.

In its press release, the DMDK party said, "Vijayakanth has been admitted to a private hospital for the secondary tests. He is in good health".

The parleys from the state ruling party to reach a consensus between the two factions have been going on for ten days with no sign of reaching an immediate, if not a long time, truce.

The Chief Minister hasn't agreed to the demand with the view of having full control over the party, as both the factions are showing no grounds of truce, which is the only possible option for both of them currently.
