The Central team headed by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's Additional Secretary Arti Ahuja has arrived in Chennai on Thursday and reviewed the city's measures to contain the spread.
According to the Union Health Ministry, Karnataka has reported 31,105 cases so far as of Friday morning of which 17,786 are active, 12,833 have been discharged, and 486 had succumbed to the virus.
