Kamal Haasan is also to be seen in director Nag Ashwin's mega-budget sci-fi film ‘Kalki 2898AD’, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

Kamal Haasan steps into the shoes of Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar from Kayalpattinam, a character etched with destiny as a criminal, thug, and Yakuza. 

Both parts will be released in a gap of one year span, and the climax of Part 2 will lead for Part-3. 

The talks are still in progress and an official confirmation is awaited from the makers.
