The film is said to be produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, and reports had it that the film will be based on the true events, not a biopic. 

However, sources suggest that the shooting for this film will commence only after Suriya completes the shooting of his ongoing project 'Suriya 42'. with Siruthai Siva

The script work is also in the works and the makers are planning to start the principal photography in the last quarter of next year," says a source.

It has been reported that the announcement regarding the project with the Simbu-Keerthy Suresh starrer will be unfolded during Diwali.

Kongara is now decorating a prestigious National Award for her masterpiece Soorarai Pottru, which took more awards than any other movie in the recently announced 68th National Film Awards. 

Sudha Kongara is presently busy with the Hindi adaptation of 'Soorarai Potru' post-production works and she also confirmed a project with Hombale films.
