The next project for Jayam Ravi is the Mani Ratnam-helmed historical epic "Ponniyin Selvan," which is set to release on September 30.

Written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran, 'Gargi' follows the narration of a middle-class family woman - a soft-spoken, innocent school teacher.
