The party members of ADMK's North Tuticorin district had adopted a resolution on Sunday by stating that Sasikala must continue to be the party's General Secretary. 

With the dissent, he has decided to quit the party and join DMK and his entry would be crucial for DMK to establish the party's stronghold in the Kongu belt which is ADMK's citadel.

While the audit for TANGEDCO was done for the year ended 31 March 2019, the audit for the rest three entities was done for the year ended 31 March 2018.
