The film 'Jai Bhim' directed by TJ Gananvel, is based on a true incident in 1993, which involves a case fought by Justice K. Chandru, who fought for justice for the Irular community.
Recently, speaking at the Indian Panorama Feature Film Section at IFFI 53, producer Rajasekar has spilled the beans that the sequel to Jai Bhim is in the making.
A total of 20 non-feature films and 25 feature films, including S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR and Suriya's Jai Bhim, and Hindi film The Kashmir Files, among others have been selected.
Gnanavel said, "I hope to bring out new dimensions through Jeevajothi’s legal battle on screen. Today, directing this project and working on its characters feels surreal."
