O P Ravindranath Kumar is the lone MP of ADMK in Lok Sabha and as his victory has been put on hold, the party will most likely lose its representation in the Lok Sabha. 

As the Election Commission has officially recongised EPS, it has seemingly become certain that the gates for the ADMK's leadership are closed for OPS.

EPS won a crucial legal battle on Tuesday - March 28 in the Madras High Court where he defeated his rival O Panneerselvam (OPS) by getting a verdict backing his political elevation of becoming ADMK's general secretary.

As his supporters see EPS as the party's face and force, they are celebrating his elevation across the state by exchanging sweets and smiles.

With the political elevation, EPS is rising as the party's face and force after J Jayalalithaa. Though the climax is almost over, OPS tends to continue the story of infight by appealing against the high court's verdict. 

OPS stated that a large meeting would be held in Trichy in the second week of April, after which he would meet supporters from all the districts. 

When EPS is moving closer to get elected as the party's general secretary, which is the highest post, OPS has once again pulled judiciary to the table to curb the elevation of EPS. 

For OPS whose political career is getting smashed, the demise of his mother had poured a sense of melancholy.

"The tour will begin imminently. We will request justice and fairness district by district and when we meet people, we reveal numerous secrets that held for long,"

Earlier, the Election Commission ordered the temporary allocation of the double leaf symbol to Edappadi Palaniswami's team.
