Helmed by Tollywood director Vamshi Paidapally, the movie is prepared for a theatrical release during Pongal 2023. 

The incumbent pontiff of Madurai Aadheenam, who is known for his controversial remarks, has now gone an extra mile and advocated not to watch the movies of actor Vijay.

Vijay's latest picture from Thalapathy 66, shared by Prakash Raj, has been going viral and the movie has targeted the release during Pongal 2023. 

It's Vijay's first outing with Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally, who is helming this project while popular producer Dil Raju takes charge of bankrolling it.

Ajith's next, tentatively named AK 61, has been bankrolled by Boney Kapoor and helmed by H Vinoth. Ajith will be playing a negative role and shooting has been taking place in Hyderabad.
