The cluster of big stars is getting ready to grandly welcome us to the land of the Cholas in just two weeks with the background score from A R Rahman. 

Last Tuesday - September 6, the highly anticipated audio and trailer of the movie were released in a resplendent ceremony.

From the acting to the stunning visual magnificence, the trailer promises to deliver a dramatic cinematic experience that has it all. 

The makers released a new poster for the Poonguzhali character after unveiling the "Ponniyin Selvan" characters with a new poster every day as promotional work over a month ago. 

On Tuesday evening, the film's producers finally shared on social media the trailer and audio release date, and fans are firing up with comments.

The much awaited song has been composed by AR Rahman and Ilango Krishnan has penned the lyrics, where voiced by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar.

The song is thematic to battle scenario, featuring actor Vikram, who plays Adhithya Karikalan in the gripping historical drama, Ponniyin Selvan 1 is a Tamil film directed by the veteran director Manirathnam and scored by A R Rahman, a personal favourite of the director's.

Nearly one month prior to the release, the producers had already released the first single, 'Ponni Nadhi' and had already seen the grand reception and even got marvelous attention after the making video of the single.

The main distinction between a regular theatre and an IMAX theatre is the size, visual quality, and audio level of the latter. The IMAX screen is allegedly nearly six times bigger than standard screens. The screens in IMAX theatres are quite large and shaped like a dome. Another benefit is that film watchers can view the movies flawlessly from any angle.

The ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam has planned a lavish audio launch because it is expected to be one of the biggest forthcoming releases in the country.
