Interestingly, the director divulged for the first time that he got a call from Lokesh to act in what later became a blockbuster movie - Vikram.

The movie is currently in fourth place among the highest-grossing Tamil movies of 2022 after earning a total of Rs 17 crore at the box office in just two days. 

After a wave of such suggestions, the maker ended up cutting out the superfluous parts of the movie and come up with a change.

Within one hour into release, the trailer has got over 1 million views on YouTube, which implies the scale of high expectancy for the movie. 

Vikram said, "Cobra is a mass entertainer movie which is a mix of psychological thriller, emotional drama, science fiction, high octane action film." 

Ahead of the movie's release, the Cobra team has come up with a crucial promotional tour of visiting students at various colleges across the state. 

The much awaited song has been composed by AR Rahman and Ilango Krishnan has penned the lyrics, where voiced by Sathya Prakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar.

On Monday, director Gautham Menon took us to Instagram and posted a picture of himself and Vikram, and said "The stars will align."
