The Chief Minister has launched the Tamil Nadu Health System Reform Programme (TNHSRP) which was set up with the investment of Rs 2,857 crore.

Edappadi Palaniswami has pressed that the ruling ADMK government would protect all people in Tamil Nadu regardless of the caste, creed, and community.

The opposition parties had boycotted the assembly by accusing the ruling government of not sending the bill to the examination committee before tabling it on the assembly floor.

CM's announcement has come weeks after he addressed to Prime Minister Modi to revoke the recent amendment of the Central government that debars public consultation on implementing the hydrocarbon projects.

The Public Prosecutor had stated that these statements were defamatory and had the strong motive of degrading the reputation of the Chief Minister.
