While the movie team had completed the initial schedules of shooting in various places including Georgia and Delhi, the team is currently camped in Chennai to complete the remaining schedules.

Valimai is all set to get released in theatres during Pongal 2022 and recently, it was made official that Ajith will again be joining hands with Vinoth and Boney Kapoor.

After Beast, Vijay will be joining hands with Tollywood director Vamsi Paidipally for the first time for what has been tentatively named Thalapathy 66.

Ajith is currently in the outing with H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor for the movie 'Valimai' which has been slated for a release during Pongal 2022. 

The jury is comprised of 15 members and they will be finalizing one movie out of 14 and that one movie would be sent as India's entry for the Academy Awards. 

The maker of the movie Sun Pictures took to Twitter and released the second single, which had garnered a good reception in a short time.

Piraisoodan was admitted to a private hospital in the city a few days ago following an ailment. Despite the treatment to save him, he had breathed his last at around 4.45 pm on Friday.

Vijay has joined hands with Telugu director Vamsi Paidipally, who helms Thalapathy 66, which will be bankrolled by famous Tollywood producer Dil Raju.
